REVISION LESSON PLAN
TOPIC: THE LIVING ORGANISM CHARACTERSTICS AND HABITAT
OBJECTIVES
Recall their past visit and conclude organism living place.
Describe the term habitat and adaptation
Illustrate key features of camel and fish.
Formulate the reason behind need for different habitata for survival.
TRANSACTION;
In revision class teacher firstly introduce chapter briefly and then starting recaptulating lesson by different activities in order to develop interest of the students.
BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The chapter living organism, characterstics and Habitat talks about different types of surroundings available in our nature like forest, mountains, oceans, deserts etc and different different organism live in different habitats. Those different plants amd animals have special features which make them adaptable to that particular habitat.
E.g camel lives in deserts
Polar Bear lives in Mountain
Majorily there are two type of habitat
1. Terrestrial habitat
2. Aquatic Habitat
We have already studied about each tyle of habitat in our previous classes.
We further learnt about characterstics of some living organism like respiration, reproduction, excretion etc.
After introducing lesson, pupil teacher start revision.
Activity 1:
In order to obtained the definition of habitat and adaptation from the students pupil teacher will conduct RAPID FIRE GAME and inquiry students about there past experiences.
Pupil teacher speak few words like Desert, kullu Manali and students have to reply similar thing that come first in their mind.

Are all animals and plant survive at same place?
Expected response:- No.
After getting responses from the students , Pt callone student on the board and will tell to frame defination of habitat in his own word
"THE SURROUNDING WHERE ANIMALS LIVE"
Now Pt again inquire from the students with the help of conversation betweem two organism
Cami (CAMEL ) : HELLO NEMO
NEMO (FISH): HEY CAMI
Cami: Nemo we share shelter for few days?
Now pupil teacher collect students responses why they can't live together and conclude their characterstics;
ADAPTATION: certain features that help them to live in the surroundings in which they are normally found. The presence of certain features or certain habitat which enables an organism to live naturally in a place is called adaptation.
EXTENSION OF LEARNING:
Revise next topics for tomorrow class.
